Your very own creative cheer squad

Hi there lovely friend,

So you’ve been lettering for a while now and have started thinking about turning what you love into a business.

But then the overwhelm kicks in… where to start, what to do with Photoshop, or should you be in Illustrator? And sure, Google is your friend, but what about the times you don’t even know what to Google?!

Whether you’re tearing your hair out because you’re sure it’s possible to do that thing you’ve been working at for 36 hours straight – you’ve seen others do it – but you just can’t work out how, or even where to start, or you’ve opened Illustrator 10 times and closed it again straight away because overwhelmed, or you’ve spent 20 hours trawling Instagram comments hoping that someone will say what the name of that pen is, or what paper they’re using – this course is totally for you.

I’m going to walk you through, in simple videos that you can re-watch as many times as you need to, how to transform your art from paper to digital, how to set it up to send to a printer, create a mockup or just save as a digital download. I’ll take you through my top tips for Instagram, creating videos for social media, as well as some of the nitty gritty like starting an email list. As well as that, we’re going to talk confidence, authenticity and finding your voice online.

Whether you’ve just started your Lettery Business, or are still in the thinking/planning/dreaming stage, I would love to journey with you and help you achieve all kinds of amazing things!

Want to know what others are saying?

Of course you do, you want to be sure this is going to be great. Only I can’t tell you what others are saying (yet!) because this course is brand spanking new! What I can tell you though is what people have said about my Freestyle Calligraphy course, which at least lets you know what I’m like at teaching online (because I know that can be scary sometimes, thinking that someone can teach art online – but it’s totally awesome!)

Thank you so much for doing this online course, I have absolutely loved it! I think your videos were amazing, and you were always very descriptive when talking about what you were doing. I thought it was great! The Facebook group was one of the greatest things about it, it’s so great to see all the people around the world who love the same thing. And they were all so friendly and supportive! Your class has really made an improvement for me! Not only in my lettering style but it’s helped me let myself be more creative with less judgement on myself.

I loved that the videos were short and quick so I had a chance to watch them and could practice when I could, that I found myself practicing on random things like shopping lists and work notes, while I was on the phone etc. The course gave me the confidence to be always practicing because I loved it so much.

What a treat it was to do this course with you, Liss! Thank you so much!

Thanks so much for offering this class. I was hesitant to spend the money at first as I feel like I had a decent grasp of the principles of lettering, just hadn’t really given it the time I needed to. I had also done other online classes in the past that were more or less mediocre. But I am SO GLAD I decided to give it a go.

When does the course start and finish?
The first video will be released on 15th March 2017, with a new module released each week after that for 9 weeks. You can either do each module as they are released or work in your own time, you’ll have ongoing access to all of the content once it has been released.

How long will I have access to the course content for?
For ever and always (ok, maybe that’s an exaggeration…  at least for as long as I inhabit this little corner of the internet). I hate it when I lose access to things after a certain time (because life happens and we don’t always finish things in the time we hope we will). So you will always have all the content and the Facebook group available.

Does this course cover accounting and business setup?
No, there is such a huge variation in the types of businesses and the way tax and accounting works internationally that that’s not something I will tackle in this space.

Do I have to have Facebook to do this course?
No, the Facebook community is incredibly valuable but I realise that not everyone is, or wants to be, on Facebook. You’ll still have access to all of the course content.

What if I’m unhappy with the course?
I would hate for you to feel that you’ve invested in something that you’re disappointed with. If you’re unsatisfied with your purchase, you have 30 days to request a full refund.

Can I pay in instalments?
Nope, sorry.
