Oh hello there!
So you’ve got an iPad, you’ve seen all the beautiful letters on Instagram, but you have no idea where to start?
Let me fix that for you.
If you’ve watched any of my lettery learning videos, you’ll know that I like to keep things simple, get straight to the point, and teach you the things you need to know without overwhelming you with details you really don’t (at least not just yet!).
If you’re looking for complex technical stuff, that’s not here. This course is designed to quickly help you feel comfortable navigating Procreate for lettering, to give you worksheets and brushes specifically designed for letterers, and give you the confidence you need to start making beautiful letters of your own.

What we’re going to cover in this course!
First up, it’s all the Procreate basics. You’ll learn how to set yourself up for lettery success and how to move around the app confidently – with an emphasis on lettering of course, that’s why we’re here!
Next we’ll cover how to import a custom brush into Procreate. I’ll give you access to three of my favourite lettery brushes, and walk you through importing them into Procreate. Having the right tools matters!
Lastly, we’ll start exploring the possibilities of pressure-sensitive brushes, I’ll help you understand what’s possible with each of the brushes I’ve provided you with, and help you feel confident right from the start.
This module is where we kick it up a level, start creating basic shapes, and then look at how we can put those shapes together to create beautiful letters.
Next up it’s drills, drills, and more drills. I know, you want to skip over them (and hey, since we’re being honest, I’m going to encourage you to find what works for you and do that!), but if you’re someone who enjoys drills, you’ll be in drill heaven!
As part of this course, you’ll get access to worksheets that include a full alphabet, both lowercase, and uppercase, in both print, and script styles. In this module, we’re going to focus on the print versions, connections can come later!
Now it’s time to focus on connections!
This module introduces script lettering, how to connect letters, and how to start working a little bounce into your lettering.
This module brings together the basics we’ve learnt in the previous modules, and is your launch pad to amazing lettery things!
We’ll cover every single connection you could possibly imagine (if your name includes an xg connection, I’ve got you covered!) and you’ll also get access to a bunch of common words, in multiple variations, that will launch you from beginner to pro in no time (ok fine, maybe not, but let’s aim high together!!).
What will you get?
All kinds of lettery goodness! Worksheets, custom brushes, videos galore.

Frequently Asked Questions
What do I need to join?
You need an iPad Pro or the most recent (6th Generation, 2018) 9.7″ iPad.
Procreate will work on any iPad, and there are workarounds for other devices, but you will get the best results from this program with an Apple Pencil – which is compatible with any generation iPad Pro, and the 6th Generation (2018) 9.7″ iPad.
You also need to have Procreate installed on your iPad. You can find Procreate here : procreate.art
Yeah, but I have an older iPad? Can’t I use that?
Ok, you probably can, but I want you to know that some of the features in Procreate work best when using an Apple Pencil. I would hate for you to sign up and then feel disappointed about not being able to make it all work. You can use a different stylus, but you’ll need to make sure you get one that is pressure sensitive.
When does the course start?
Whenever you’re ready. This course is entirely self-paced.
Can I do this course if I’m left-handed?
Yep. That’s one of the great things about lettering on an iPad – no smudging!
How long do I have access to the content for?
If you purchased the course outright, forever and ever, amen. Ok, maybe that’s exaggerating, but for as long as I inhabit this corner of the internet. If you gained access to the course via your Clarity membership, for as long as your Clarity membership is active.
