Crawl out of bed. Sore back. Very sore back. Do all the usual morning things, help kids get out the door.
Kids all at school. Work time. Today is a ‘home day’ so hopefully it’s productive and restful all at the same time. #dreamingright. Instagram, lettering, cuddles with the toddler. Instagram, more lettering, play with the toddler. Facebook group, course preparation, hashtag research (because I want a set of “artist” type hashtags to use sometimes) play trains with the toddler. You get the idea…. Order groceries online because I *hate* grocery shopping but always forget to order in time!
Toddler asleep. Shower time. Quiet lettering time.
Toddler awake. That seemed too short.
Friend, coffee, bliss 🙂
Children home from school. Feed them, watch while they play, feed them again, drive them to my dad’s so that he can watch them while Bri and I do pilates.
Pilates. Again. I deserve chocolate for this.
Pickup all the other people from my dad’s then drive home and get them all into bed. Endure screaming overtired toddler who wants EVERYTHING and NOTHING all at the same time.
D&M with the two big girls about life and relationships and history and things.
Argue with the two big girls about how they NEED TO GO TO SLEEP NOW PLEASE. Because mummy’s brain is tired and full of noise and needs quiet time.
Cook dinner for myself. Pour a glass of wine and sit down to read and reply to things and enjoy the quiet. Did I mention it’s quiet? Chocolate. Work on church booklet. Stare blankly at screen because I’ve forgotten what I was doing. Reply to emails. Reply to Insta DMs.
