Recently I worked with Bridgeman Baptist Community Church on a building campaign titled “A time to build”.
With only a few weeks to create all of the collateral in time for the campaign launch we decided to go with clean, simple design that used the limited visual elements already available and added custom handlettering to create visual impact. I love working on campaigns like this because it’s an opportunity to see a concept right from the early stages through to completion, and stretches me to create elements that can be adapted across a wide range of applications.
For this campaign I did a 12 page printed booklet.
A 4 page response card.
And a range of images for use in newsletters, presentations and social media.
I also got to hand paint some barrels for a display table!
Since writing this post I’ve also added two large canvasses on the wall either side of this table. Freehand lettering on them was a little nerve-wracking, but fun too! (Awful video, but you get the idea)
